Unfortunately we are unable to take payment by card. On receipt of the deposit we will send you a booking confirmation. If you have not received this please let us know. The full balance is payable 10 weeks before your holiday.
We are happy to hold a reservation whilst awaiting a deposit or full payment however if we have not received your cheque or BACS payment within 4 working days we reserve the right to release the booking (if we are unable to contact you by phone or email).
Sunnylea only accepts bookings from persons over 18 years of age.
Sunnylea is unsuitable for Hen or Stag parties, if you are a larger group of friends please contact us to discuss.
We reserve the right to amend advertised prices at any time. We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. At the time of booking you will be informed of the prices applicable. The price stated on the booking confirmation is binding.
Cancellations & Refunds
In the event of you needing to cancel your holiday we will do our best to re-sell it. If successful we will refund you the amount that the holiday resold for (less your deposit). However, you will not be reimbursed if the holiday is not resold and if the cancellation is made within 10 weeks of the arrival date. Holiday dates cannot be changed within 10 weeks of arrival. We recommend that you take holiday cancellation insurance to cover any potential losses.
In the unlikely event of the accommodation not being available due to fire, flood or other unforeseen circumstances, Sunnylea cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss, but the full cost of the holiday will be refunded.
If we need to make a significant change to your booking we will inform you as soon as possible, this would be a very rare occurrence.
Arrival & Departure
Your accommodation will be available from 3pm on arrival day. We strongly advise that you arrive before dark as it will be easier for you to find us and get your bearings on site; we live in a remote, rural area without street lighting.

Please check out by 11am on the day of departure unless previously agreed otherwise.
We can sometimes accommodate earlier check-in times, or later check-outs, provided you speak to us in advance.
Breakages and Damage
We understand that sometimes accidents happen so if you do break or damage anything we would ask that you report it to us as soon as possible, so that we can make arrangements to replace or repair it for the next guests. We will only charge for replacement in exceptional cases as we accept that a degree of wear and tear is to be expected.
